**The premises do not include electric air conditions. The thick stone foundations create a stable indoor enviroment without temperature fluctuations, so throughout the day the temperature will be naturally cool. Also, the National Archeological Committee does not allow the addition of electrical devices to be installed in exposed areas, because it would alter the traditional design of the establishment.

In 19th century “Georgilas” was a family cottage with its own large production in fruits, cereals, milk and cheese. Throughout centuries “Georgilas” has achieved to retain its authenticity, and today it offers to its guests’ a harmonious blend of unparalleled tranquility and down-home coziness.
“Georgilas Cave House” is a privately owned complex of 5 fully autonomous traditional residences of more than 120 years old, which have been yet quite recently refurbished (just in 2013) with big love and respect to the “Georgilas” unique Cycladic features.
